New Delhi - The Association of Hospitality Professionals (AHP), a dedicated non-profit organization promoting excellence in the hospitality industry, proudly announces the eagerly anticipated seventh edition of the AHP Hospitality Challenge and Awards - 2024. This prestigious event continues to serve as a premier platform for recognizing and celebrating the exceptional talent and creativity of young hospitality professionals.
The AHP Hospitality Challenge and Awards - 2024 will kick off with a series of dynamic competitions designed to evaluate the skills and expertise of participants across various operational areas of the hotel industry. Key events include the Culinary Challenge, Front Office Master, Art of Bed Making, Art of Towel Folding, War of Spirits, Art of Table Setting, Hospitality Challenge (Student Category), and the second edition of the Hospitality Challenge (Specially Abled Category). These competitions will be hosted at renowned venues such as the Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Indian Hotel Academy, The Surya Hotel, Radisson Blu and The Park in New Delhi.
The theme of the AHP Hospitality Challenge 2024 is Sustainability in Hospitality. Sustainability in the hospitality industry in India is a growing focus as the sector acknowledges the need for environmentally responsible practices.

The Front Office Master competition is set to take place at Radisson Blu Hotel, Paschim Vihar on July 2. From July 3 to 5, the Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology will host the Culinary Challenge. The War of Spirits and Art of Table Setting competitions will be held at The Surya Hotel on July 8. Concluding the event series, The Park Hotel will host the Art of Bed Making and Art of Towel Folding competitions on July 9.
Ms. Devipshita Gautam, Founder & General Secretary of AHP, emphasized the organization's dedication to fostering young talent and inclusivity: "We are expecting over 300 participants in the under-20 category this year, a testament to the growing enthusiasm and talent among young hospitality professionals. Following the competitions, AHP will host the highly anticipated AHP Hospitality Excellence Awards 2024 on July 25, 2024, at the Airforce Auditorium in New Delhi. This grand affair will be attended by prominent hoteliers, restaurateurs, renowned chefs, hospitality experts, corporate executives, and members of the media. The awards ceremony serves as a testament to the exceptional contributions made by industry leaders in shaping the future of hospitality.
