Ishq Jabariya actor Lakshay says "I feel like I was destined to do this show”
Lakshay Khurana, the charismatic actor portraying the character of Aditya in the newly launched show ‘Ishq Jabariya’ on Sun Neo, recently revealed the unexpected path that brought him to this role. Reflecting on the events leading up to the project, Lakshya shared how everything fell into place for him to join ‘Ishq Jabariya’. He described it as a fortunate incident, highlighting the unexpected turns that eventually led him to this exciting new show.
While speaking about his decision to take on the role in 'Ishq Jabariya,' Lakshay said, "I feel like I was destined to do this show because I had just finished my last show a month before being offered this new one. Initially, I wasn't willing to take on another project because I needed some time for myself to recuperate and regain my energy. When this offer came to me, I received the audition script and found it very interesting. I thought, 'Why not give the audition a shot?'"
He further added, “After I auditioned, the producer and others liked my performance very much and said we need to do a mock shoot. At that moment, it felt like this was really happening. I hoped it could start a little later or maybe not happen at all, but I received a call for the mock shoot. I was at home in Delhi, but I went for the mock shoot and performed. Later, they called to inform me that I had been finalised for the project. It felt like a sign from God to take on this show, so it all just fell into place.”
Ishq Jabariya is a romantic drama about Gulki, a lively young woman who dreams of becoming an air hostess. Despite facing hardships from her unkind stepmother, Gulki never loses hope. Her journey is full of surprises and she might even find love in the most unexpected places. The show stars Kamya Panjabi, Siddhi Sharma, and Lakshya Khurana in important roles.
