DPS Indirapuram hosted the third edition of Vigyanotsav, a two-day event themed on "AI Innovations Unleashed". The School Principal, Mrs. Priya John, inaugurated the event, whose address set an inspirational tone. The program commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by a rendition of a Sanskrit poem celebrating the marvels of science. The highlight of the assembly was an ingenious play depicting the meeting between artificial intelligence and legendary scientists like Einstein, Archimedes and Newton.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including Ms. Akanksha Arora, a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and Master Trainer for CBSE Center for Excellence, and Ms. Ria Kansal, an esteemed alumna of DPS Indirapuram and a pilot with Air India. Their presence added to the prestige of the event.
The event featured an impressive range of AI models, like AI Livenotes, Bionic Arm, Iris Tracker, Space Invasion, and games developed by students from classes VI to XII. The venue was filled with excitement as robots and humanoids interacted with visitors, showcasing the students' dedication to integrating technology with creativity. Science games added a playful yet educational dimension to the event, capturing the imagination of all attendees.
On the second day, an inter-house Science quiz brought an exciting competitive spirit to the forefront. The quiz, featuring engaging rounds like "Connect the Theme," "Take Your Pick," "In the News," and "Audio Visual Clips," saw students from the five houses compete fervently for the top prize, further igniting their passion for science. Participants of Jhelum house were declared the winners of the Inter house Vigyanotsav Quiz.
