We are pleased to inform you that the Bandh call given by the Maharashtra Rajya Vyapari Kruti Samiti has been withdrawn. This decision follows a productive two-hour meeting today with Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavisji, along with Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodhaji, Cabinet Minister, Maharashtra Government, and Smt. Madhuri Misalji, MLA, at Sahyadri Guest House. The meeting was attended by secretaries from the Finance Ministry, APMC, GST & CGST Departments, and the Market Committee.
During the meeting, Maharashtra Rajya Vyapari Kruti Samiti strongly raised critical issues such as APMC Cess, service charge issues, redevelopment issues, and various GST-related concerns, including sections 16(2) and 16(2)(C), e-way bills, additional place issues, stock transfer issues, and the need for an acceptance mechanism for GST credit reversals by sellers. Our President, Jitendra Shah, also advocated for "one shop, one license" with a one-time renewal, which was well received by Shri Devendraji.
The Deputy Chief Minister patiently listened to all our concerns, acknowledged the urgency of several issues, and after detailed discussions, ordered the formation of a joint committee to resolve our grievances within 30 days.
This constructive dialogue with the Deputy Chief Minister is a positive step toward finding solutions that benefit everyone.
We also gratefully acknowledge the efforts of Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodhaji and MLA Smt. Madhuri Tai Misalji for their intervention in arranging this crucial meeting. Additionally, we appreciate the call from Chief Minister Shri Eknath Shindeji, who assured us of finding amicable solutions and requested the withdrawal of the Bandh.
In light of these developments, we have decided to withdraw the Bandh.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation and keep you updated on the progress of the committee’s work.
We sincerely thank you for your cooperation and support. Let us remain united as we work together to find solutions that benefit our trading community.
Considering these positive developments, we request all trade associations to withdraw tomorrow’s Bandh.
Once again, we extend our heartfelt thanks to each association and their members for their unwavering support to the Federation of Associations of Maharashtra and the Maharashtra Rajya Vyapari Kruti Samiti.
