INI CET Exam to be conducted on 22nd July
July 2021: Doctors hoping to pursue postgraduate studies in medicine demanded for the postponement of the Institutes of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET 2021). After the orders from Supreme Court the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) which conducts the entrance exam for postgraduate medicine, announced new dates for the exam today i.e. 19th June,2021.
Before, INI CET 2021 was scheduled for 16th June, 2021 which will now be conducted on 22nd July, 2021. The admit cards for the revised dates will be declared on 15th July,2021 as per the revised schedule.
The INI CET is the exam for admission to postgraduate courses in leading government medical institutes in the country including AIIMS, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) Puducherry and National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS) in Bengaluru. The INI-CET regulates admission to around 800 seats for which more than 80,000 candidates appear.
Doctors were confused regarding the dates of the exam. This decision is somewhere giving relief to the aspirants. Last time when the dates were announced doctors hardly had 10 days and the decision was surprising for them. But as per the revised date, they have almost one month for preparing themselves.
Commenting on this Mr. Gaurav Tyagi, Founder- Career Xpert said, “The announcement of the dates prior to one month is the good decision taken. Now, doctors will have clear idea that they have to give exam on the given date as they have got one month time. Now they should be well prepared for examination thoroughly. Be consistent in their studies and start revising the syllabus. My best wishes to all the aspirants.”
