Presenting to you perfect reboot menu, Sony MAX brings to your TV screens the perfect modern classics that will make your heart feel all things warm and fuzzy and leave you with a wide smile.

Here’s the list

3 Idiots - 20th June at 8 PM on Sony MAX

Hostel days, friendship, romance, career dilemma- nostalgic already? This landmark film ticks all your boxes. From superhit tracks like “All izz Well” and “Zoobio Doobie” to a scenic road trip down the serene roads of Himachal, 3 idiots is not a movie, it’s an experience. Most of us lived vicariously through the bond shared by Rancho, Farhan and Raju and their notorious pranks, supported them in their internal and personal struggles and hated the those they disliked, all the same. Be it the infamous speech by Chatur Ramalingam or life lessons by Viru Sahastrabuddhe aka Virus, the movie has a lot teach. With stellar performances by Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani and Omi Vaidya, this coming-of-age masterpiece was directed by Rajkumar Hirani.

Did you know: The film was reportedly shot in reverse, the present-day scenes were shot first, leading up to the college scenes.

Dilwale - 21st June at 12 PM on Sony MAX

Giving the world- round Bollywood fanatics blockbuster tracks like “Gerua”, "Manma Emotion Jaage" and "Janam Janam", Dilwale is the first movie to have seen the star cast of Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon share the screen with the legendary, on-screen favourite couple- Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, who share the screen in their seventh movie together. The movie is a tale of epic love. Apart from the magical chemistry between Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan, the movie is the return of Kajol on the big screen after a long break. Varun Dhawan adds the energy to the movie and Kriti Sanon brings the sparks with her flawless screen presence. If you believe in the phrase “Love conquers all” and have an appetite for drama, don’t miss out on Dilwale!

Did you know: The plane on which the iconic romantic scene in the song Gerua was shot, is not a prop! It is an actual wrecked plane, whose pilot managed to save himself and all its passengers! The crew considers it to be good luck.

Chak De India - 23rd June at 3 PM on Sony MAX

There is nothing like watching an intense sports match and rooting for your country. Patriotism and adrenaline fill our hearts with pride as we cheer for those who will bring the trophy home. Eternalizing the “Sattar minute hain tumhare pass” dialogue as the pep talk before any big day, the movie also stands tall as a feminist saga. Bringing women to the forefront, even though the coach is King Khan himself, the story remains that of the Women’s Indian Hockey team. From the team being the underdog to climbing up the ladder with perseverance and valour, the film is the ultimate motivator on an otherwise slow day. Giving a sneak-peek into the locker room politics and the personal lives of the players, the film also does not shy away from addressing the deep-rooted misogyny and casteism pervasive in the society- the characters are human and emotions intense.

Did you know: Freida Pinto, of Slumdog Millionaire fame, had auditioned for a role in the movie but did not make the final cut.
