250 km in one charge! Komaki Ranger, India’s first electric cruiser to hit the market in January 2022

Komaki has invested more than 1 million USD in the design

New Delhi: Komaki Electric Vehicles, one of India’s fastest evolving EV manufacturers, had recently announced that it will be launching India’s first electric cruiser bike in January 2022. The news of the launch has spread like wildfire and it has sparked curiosity among people regarding the features of this mystic motorcycle. To satiate this curiosity, Komaki has revealed some of the features of its new offering that will be launched under the moniker “Ranger”.

As the name suggests, Ranger will offer tremendous mileage, making it very feasible for long drives. It will feature a 4-kilowatt battery pack, which is the largest battery pack in an electric two-wheeler in India, and it’ll offer a range of 250 km! Komaki has also revealed that Ranger will be powered by a 5000-watt motor that’ll help the bike scale roads flawlessly and smoothly. The cruiser bike has improved features like cruise control, repair switch, reverse switch and Bluetooth system and advanced braking system. These features will give riders a smooth experience while riding.

The Indian market does not have any electric cruiser in the market, which means that it will be the first time when motorcycle enthusiasts in India will get to experience what it feels like to ride an electric scooter. It should be noted that despite offering premium features, Komaki has stated that the bike will be launched in the market at an affordable price so that it can be accessible to the common man.

Besides packing a large battery and a powerful motor, the Ranger will have features like safety, handling, comfort, comfort, and style that are trademarks of Komaki Electric Vehicles.

Addressing the media regarding the launch, Gunjan Malhotra, Director, Komaki Electric Division, said, “The Ranger is going to be a game-changer as it is India’s first-ever electric cruiser. There are some things that need to be finalized but we have decided to keep the price affordable. We want everyone – especially the common man – to experience the joy of riding a quality cruiser that is made in India. Komaki has invested more than 1 million USD in the design and development of the ranger. We have left no stone unturned to make sure that Ranger comes out as our masterpiece, and we hope that it’ll be received with love once it rolls out in the market.”
