Empowering Women and their Strong Beliefs

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women's achievements or rally for women's equality.

Marked annually on March 8th, International Women's Day (IWD) is one of the most important days of the year to celebrate women's achievements, raise awareness about women's equality, lobby for accelerated gender parity to name a few.

Women are the real architects of society! A day when we all come together to remember how strong we are and after how many challenges we as women have achieved equal rights. Be it a homemaker, a professional or an entrepreneur, we women have excelled in every field. The best advice I could give to a woman starting her career? ‘Whatever you do, be different. Don’t try to imitate anyone, be more ambitious. Be persevering and trust yourself. Excellence is the best way to go ahead and don’t fear failure. Dare and get what you want as an independent woman who does not let herself be influenced by what others might think.’ This women’s day, let's make sure to encourage women to take up the profession of their choice and enable them to become financially and economically independent and respect their choice

We hold the power to build the future of an inclusive world – one that holds a potential far beyond the present. A place that has equal opportunities for growth coupled with increased sensibilities. It is time that we see ourselves for our innate strengths, born out of the intrinsic feminine qualities that we stand proud of. Change begins with us.

This Women’s Day, it's important to celebrate and salute the heroic women who are changing the world around us and empowering other women to do the same. When women and girls have their voice, when they are truly empowered with good health, right to education, economic opportunities and a say over the things that affect their lives and their families, that’s when we know we’ve truly arrived!
