Over the last three decades, Zee TV has been instrumental in providing the Indian youth with a global platform to showcase their singing, dancing, and acting talent. The channel's most iconic dance reality show, Dance India Dance, also revolutionized the landscape of dance in the country when it first began to air in 2009. Over the last 13 years, the platform has stood testimonial to the sheer passion and love that India holds in its heart towards dance. After giving the audience a glimpse of this year's mind-blowing talent through some interesting teasers, Zee TV recently launched its top-rated reality show for the youngest dancing talent in the country - DID L'il Masters Season 5.
This weekend, the viewers are in for a special treat as the fantastic top 15 contestants will perform for the first time during the Grand Premiere Episode of DID L'il Masters Season 5. While all the performances impressed the judges during the shoot, 11-year-old Sagar Varpe's performance to Mere Naam Tu left Sonali Bendre emotional. She got teary-eyed after his enchanting act. She was so moved that she even vowed to take care of him and be the mother figure in his life while he is away from his real mom during this show. In fact, when Sagar revealed that he has an unfulfilled wish of celebrating Gudi Padwa in a grand manner, she even organized an extravagant celebration of the festival on the sets of DID L'il Masters Season 5. Sonali also gifted him new clothes and a couple of special gifts before they celebrated the Maharashtrian New Year together.
As Sonali Bendre mentioned, "Festivals are key occasions to be spent with your family. Gudi Padwa is such a special occasion for all the Maharashtrians and so I knew it would be a lonely time for Sagar, I just wanted him to be able to celebrate the festival. While I cannot replace the joy of being with his family, I just wanted him to know he was not alone and be able to give him some good memories for Gudi Padwa this year."
Sagar also added, "Sonali Ma'am has been a mother figure to me here, and this was the very first time I celebrated Gudi Padwa in a grand manner with new clothes, gifts, and everything. I am really grateful to her for everything, and I will surely make her proud."
While the celebrations got everyone excited, wait till you witness the marvelous dance performance during the grand premiere episode!
