Children taught Ramayana through puppets

New Delhi: Ram Navami is an auspicious occasion to understand and know the life ideals of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram. On this auspicious occasion, various events were organized at Sri Sri Rukmini Dwarkadhish Temple, ISKCON Dwarka. Inspired by Padma Shri awardee grandmother Padmaji, children taught Ramayana through puppets. In this puppet workshop, children learned to represent different characters of Ramayana like Lord Shri Ram, Sita, Lakshmana and Shurpanakha etc. through puppets.
Watching puppets gives a pleasurable experience to all. It is a center of special attraction for children. In such a situation, when the children got a chance to learn this on their own, their enthusiasm was high. After this, in the evening, through the theatrical presentation based on Shri Ram, formulas of a good life was shown through the episodes of Ramayana to all the devotees present there. Earlier in the morning, Ram Katha was discoursed by Jitamitra Prabhu. Along with this, the children of Gopal Fun School, through their dance show, told how good can conquer evil. Children also participated with enthusiasm in the ‘Dhanush Baan chalao, Inam pao’ competition.
