Sheenam Ohrie to lead India Operations for Broadridge


Hyderabad, April 20, 2022 – Global Fintech leader Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE:BR) has announced the appointment of Ms. Sheenam Ohrie as the Managing Director of Broadridge India. Ms. Ohrie succeeds Laxmikanth Venkatraman who became Chairman of Broadridge India.

Ms. Ohrie joined Broadridge in September 2021 as the Chief Operating Officer for India and brings close to three decades of experience across various aspects of product engineering, global delivery, and product management, as well as in executive leadership roles.

Ohrie is responsible for Broadridge India’s innovation practice, and risk & compliance function. She has continued to work closely with Mr. Venkatraman, the leadership teams in India and across the globe in executing strategies, as well as providing innovation and thought leadership. In her new role as Managing Director, she will continue to drive growth and innovation in India, will accelerate the company’s journey to invest and build talent for the future, and will deliver high performance and transformation across all aspects of our delivery organization—Technology, Operations, and Shared Service Teams.

Since the launch of Broadridge India, it has grown multifold from a team of 450 associates to over 4,000, operating in state-of-the-art facilities in Hyderabad and Bangalore. Over the years, Broadridge India has been pivotal in enabling the Company to be a scalable Fintech and has grown to become one of Broadridge’s largest locations across the globe providing Technology, Domain and Operations leadership.
