“On lines of Production linked incentive (PLI) scheme, Government should consider Service linked incentive (SLI) schemes for industries in service sector by interlinking the incentive schemes for setting up Offshore service units and Employee generation opportunities as part of Budget 2023.
Also, to tame the current recession it is imperative for the Government to announce incentive schemes for sectors impacted by recession through achievement of metrics such as retaining headcount or additions to headcount.
Direct tax benefit on R&D spent by corporates to be reinstated like accelerated deductions against spent or similar to patent box regime currently followed by some western counterparts.”
