Mumbai, India, February 14, 2023: Lupin Life, the Consumer Healthcare division of Lupin, hosted the first-ever Aptivate Champion Run for Kids on February 12, 2023, at the MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai, to support the cause of promoting a healthier future for children.
The Aptivate Champion Run, an event for kids and parents, witnessed overwhelming participation with over 3000 Mumbaikars running to build awareness on improving children’s health and well-being through physical activity and better appetite. The run also witnessed participation from Neha Dhupia, Actress and TV personality, who flagged off the run.
The Aptivate Champion Run offered three categories of run for children, including 500-meter run for the age group of 4-7 years, 1.5-kilometer timed run for 8-10 years, and 2.5-kilometer timed run for 11-13 years.
Prior to the run, an in-depth training-cum-prep-up session by fitness experts was given to the children to pre-warm up and cool down exercises to be done before and after their run and shed light on the essentials to avoid injuries and maintain stamina during the run. Post-run there were many other exciting activities for the children to engage and celebrate their participation including trampolines, bouncy castles, toy trains, Zumba sessions, kids’ games and many more.
