Sharing personal insights, he reflected, "Education enabled me to transform my life—from my village to the nation’s Parliament, from the High Court to the Supreme Court, and eventually as the President of India.
Additionally, Shri Kovind shared insights from his recent role chairing the committee on electoral reforms, highlighting the significance of the proposed "One Nation, One Election" reform. He further exclaimed "It is deeply concerning that education often becomes the worst casualty of frequent elections. Every time an election is declared, the functioning of educational institutions is severely disrupted. Teachers are diverted from their primary responsibility of teaching, impacting students’ continuity and understanding of key concepts."
“Governments, due to the Model Code of Conduct, effectively govern for only 3.5 years of their 5-year term. One Nation, One Election will streamline governance, reduce policy disruptions, and create a stable political environment conducive to long-term sustainable and inclusive growth. When implemented, it will go down as the biggest electoral reform in the history of our country." “One Nation, One Election is not just a political or electoral reform; it would be a social, economic, and developmental leap towards a stronger, more resilient India."
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Principal Dinesh Panjwani, who emphasized, "The achievements we celebrate today are not just milestones but symbols of our shared dedication to continuous excellence."
