-Celebrated 243rd Anniversary Of The US Independence Day
New Delhi: Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), North India Council (NIC) organised an event to celebrate “US Independence Day” in New Delhi. This reception-cum-informal evening was basically a “Get-Together” with the US Ambassador, Minister Counsellors, senior officials, policy makers from the State Departments of the US Embassy.
Commenting on the special evening, Mr. Aseem Chawla, Regional President of IACC, NIC said “This particular occasion facilitated an excellent and unique Diaspora for interaction with the distinguished members of the Diplomatic Corps and for exploring new business opportunities, which would help in furthering international linkages.
The theme of the evening was “America’s Spirit of Innovation” as America is the world’s oldest democracy and India is world’s largest democracy. It was a great platform to celebrate the common commitment to democrat values, freedoms and the shared future made possible through close U.S.-Indian bilateral ties.”
The evening witnessed a gathering of over 150+ attendees which includes CXOs level executives from both Indian and American Companies across sectors and Counselors from the US Embassy.
The Chief Guest for the event was the US Ambassador to India, HE Mr. Kenneth I Juster. Mr. Juster has almost 40 years of experience as a senior business executive, senior law partner, and senior government official
Also the Guest Of Honor was serial entrepreneur, investor and a business maverick, founder of Viiking Armada, Mr. Sachiin J. Joshi. Leading a vast conglomerate with various business verticals such as FMCG, Hospitality, Realty, Entertainment, Aviation, Beverages, Harvest and many more, Sachiin has not only created the brands of tomorrow but also brought home cult brands such as Playboy and Planet Hollywood.
Making the gala evening even more exciting was the live band performance. There was also Raffles and take-aways organised for the guests.
