&TV’s popular daily Meri Hanikarak Biwi has captivated viewers all this while with its exciting twists and turns. With yet another fascinating change in events, viewers will see a huge epiphany in the upcoming drama, which is sure to leave them captivated when they along with Dr. Ira (Jia Shankar) realize that she is a mother to not one but two children. Yes, you heard that right!
All this while, it was established that Ira’s only child was Mishri (Vaishnavi Prajapati) but, as soon as the revelation took place, it comes as a hard hitting fact that she was once also a mother to a young boy, who was reported to her as dead but in reality, was abducted by Chanda(Rajeshwari Datta), the woman who had genuinely helped Ira deliver Mishri. Chanda being a barren woman raised Ira’s son like her own and left no stone unturned to fulfil his desires. Coming to terms with this realization, Ira is all set to take fate in her own hands and will be seen reuniting with her long-lost son, Chuttan Yadav (Gauransh Sharma) only to realize he is completely contrary to her temperament and values and has been raised in a completely different setting.
Unwilling to deal with the loss of her son, Chanda’s character will resurface in the story as she sets to take an evil revenge from Ira and Akhilesh while the duo to try their hands at parenting their long lost son. While on one hand Ira and Akhilesh (Karan Suchak) try to solve their differences that are a result of Chuttan, Mishri begins to develop differences with her own parents as a result of being manipulated by Chanda. The question that remains is, will Ira manage to develop a motherly relationship with her son or will she end up losing her only daughter in that process?
Essaying the character of Chanda, Rajeshwari Datta who is all set to enter the show and create a stir in Ira’s life says, “Negative roles can be quiet challenging to play. But I have always liked playing negative roles, as it gives the artist a chance to play around with various shades gripping the viewers attention. There is a striking contrast between playing a negative role and how I am in real life. In reality, I am a very amiable and soft spoken personality and in the show, Meri Hanikarak Biwi, my character is totally opposite to that. Everyone on the sets including my cast members have been extremely supportive and I am really enjoying working with them. Playing the character of Chanda is a suppressed feeling and she being a barren woman , her life revolves around Chuttan which in turn makes her very possessive about him and that is exactly where the negative shade comes into play.”
Will Mishri be able to accept Chuttan as her twin brother? Will Chanda’s revenge infact reunite Ira and Akhilesh?
