~Zee Bollywood celebrates Independence Day the 101% Shuddh Bollywood way with the all-day patriotic movie marathon~ 

Independence Day is the time for getting together, hoisting the Indian flag, and parading while saluting the spirit of India. But for some, Independence Day is sitting back and binge watching patriotic movies. Setting the mood right from the gleam of dawn, Zee Bollywood the 101% Shuddh Bollywood channel brings to you the Independence Day special movie marathon on Thursday, 15^th August 2019 from 6:30 am onwards. From Kranti to Sarfarosh, Zee Bollywood is all set to evoke patriotism through 101% Shuddh Entertainment, keeping the spirit of patriotism alive all day long!

Embarking upon the Independence Day celebrations are two back to back Dilip Kumar hits ‘Kranti’ and ‘Karma’ at 6.30am and 10.30am respectively. Directed by Manoj Kumar, the 101% shuddh drama film Kranti, features an ensemble cast comprising of Dilip Kumar, Shashi Kapoor, Hema Malini, Shatrughan Sinha and Parveen Babi. 101% Tashan se bhara -‘Karma’ is a multi-starrer directed by Subhash Ghai that sees stalwarts like Nutan, Dilip Kumar, Naseeruddin Shah, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Poonam Dhillon, Sridevi, Dara Singh and Anupam Kher coming together on celluloid. Deepening patriotic feels towards the second half of the day is the 101% shuddh drama se bhara Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo set to air at 2pm. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film features superstars Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol. Coming right after at 5:30pm is Aamir Khan, Naseeruddin Shah and Sonali Bendre starrer – Sarfarosh, which encapsulates a police officer's expedition to cease cross-border terrorism. The finale movie of the marathon, another one of Anil Sharma’s blockbuster - Gadar: Ek Prem Katha will evoke the inner patriot in every India. Set against the backdrop of the India-Pakistan partition in 1947, the action se bhara blockbuster stars Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the lead and will be airing on the channel at 9pm.
