‘Ode to Water’ themed photography exhibition at Express Avenue

Chennai, 9 August 2019: Express Avenue Mall, Chennai's award winning fashion and entertainment mall is excited to host the photography exhibition by Light & Life Academy with the theme: Ode to Water from 16 - 19 August 2019 at Central Atrium of the Mall.

Given the current water crisis in Chennai & across the country, it has become imperative to create awareness about water conservation. As part of Express Avenue’s corporate social responsibility & its endeavor to give back to the society, the mall has taken this initiative to provide a platform for such social causes and promote sustainable water usage. Various activities such as The Wellness Fest and upcoming photography exhibition Ode to Water are to spread awareness in reciprocation to the warmth received by Express Avenue for the last 9 years. 

To promote photography for a cause, a social media contest is also being organized. The pictures need to be submitted on Light & Life Academy Ooty’s Instagram & Facebook pages. Selected images, which depict the theme is best manner will be exhibited at Express Avenue to commemorate world photography day and the proceeds will be presented to an NGO – Environmentalist Foundation of India which is working towards water conservation.

The last day to submit entries for the contest is 15 August 2019.  The winners of the photography contest will be announced on 19 August 2019, which is the world photography day. They would be felicitated by the Chief Guest- Mr. Iqbal Mohamed, Founder of Light & Life Academy, Ooty.
