8th Edition of Bajaj Electricals Pinkathon Mumbai 2019 presented by Colors powered by Pond’s Skinfit to be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at MMRDA Ground, Next to One BKC Building, BKC.

Mumbai, November 26, 2019: The 8^th edition
of Bajaj Electricals Pinkathon Mumbai 2019 presented by Colors powered by Pond’s SkinFit was announced today in Mumbai by Super model, Actor, Ultraman and Pinkathon founder Milind Soman formally at a press conference hosted by Grand Hyatt Kalina. Hyatt India is the Hospitality Partner for Pinkathon 2019, and will be hosting the Pinkathon core team and press conferences across five cities of India.

The 51st Pinkathon will be held on Sunday, 15th December 2019 at MMRDA Ground, Next to One BKC Building, BKC, Mumbai. Pinkathon is India's biggest women’s run to encourage and promote fitness and health among women and create awareness for Breast Cancer and other issues relating to women’s health. Over 275,000 women have ran so far in the last 8 years across multiple cities. The online registrations for the multi-category run is open at www.pinkathon.in/mumbai for the VWash Plus 3 km, 5 km & Volini 10 km run and for the 21km distance drop a mail on info@pinkathon.in.

Present at the conference were eminent dignitaries like Ms. Nina Elavia Jaipuria from Viacom18, Dr Isha Thebafrom Apollo Foundation along with four mascots –Usha Soman, 81 years of age and a barefoot runner for Volini10 km run category, Dipti Gandhi, a visually impaired runner for the 21 kms run, Dhvani Jigar Shah, a baby wearing mother for VWash Plus3 km race category and Star-wife Tahira Kashyap, a breast cancer Conqueror for 5 km.

The run has 50 plus hearing-impaired girls for VWash Plus 3 km category and more than 100 visually impaired girls participating in different run categories. To prepare them for the main day, unique training sessions are being designed with the help and coordination of sighted runners. Special trainings for the main day will be organized in Mumbai for the registered participants who have requested training.

As a precursor to the main day, Pinkathon team will be organising unique events such as the Cancer Shero Trek for the cancer conquerors, 5 km midnight Reclaim The Night Run, baby wearing mother walk and Zumba for the hearing impaired. As one-of-a-kind initiative, every single participant of Pinkathon Mumbai 2019 can choose to avail a free health check-up from our healthcare partner Motherhood Hospitals or a free Mammogram if the participant is above 45 yrs of age, the same is also transferrable.
