Helpline 14400 to record corruption cases


A step initiated by government of AP, as part of the collaboration with IIMA to curb corruption
Amaravati, Nov. 26: In continuation of his crusade against corruption, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the Citizens’ Help Centre to register complaints on corruption.
The Chief Minister launched the Citizens’ Helpline number 14400 at his camp office here on Monday which will register all complaints of corruption and complete the investigation within 15-30 days of receiving the complaint.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister also released posters in English and Telugu to bring awareness among the public on the Helpline. The main slogan on the poster reads let’s join hands to eradicate corruption and the like.
After the launch, the Chief Minister made a direct call to the helpline and enquired about the functioning of the call centre. He directed the officials to complete the investigation into the complaints within 15 to 30 days.
