Mumbai, 23rd January 2020 - Wattpad, the global multiplatform entertainment company for original stories hosted the fourth edition of the #WattpadCampusTalks in Mumbai. A masterclass on how to create a captivating the cinematic universe and to give an understanding of the key pillars of storytelling, the #WattpadCampusTalks, was held at ISDI Ace, featured the creator, director, and writers of the gritty drama ‘Mirzapur’ on a popular OTT platform.
The speakers shared their insights on the making of the Mirzapur series - how the concept and characters were developed through real-life experiences. They also shared how one should analyze the situation of a story to develop character and what are the different styles of scripts that are written.
The intention of this initiative is to promote literature in colleges by bridging the gap between industry experts (authors, writers, editors who have achieved some level of success) and college students (who get a better understanding of how to hone their skills and be more informed). By bridging the gap, Wattpad aims to inspire the next generation of storytellers to craft intriguing stories.
