Makar Sankranti is celebrated across India and the day is synonymous to kite flying as well. This year, Wockhardt Hospital, Mira Road, came forward for the betterment of its patients and arranged Kite Flying Festival in the hospital to give patients the message that no matter what disease they suffer from, they should never get bogged down or give up. Instead, they should always fly high like a kite. So, patients should get freedom from diseases, fly high with good health, and the string should be controlled by the patients themselves by adopting a healthy lifestyle modification such as staying physically active and following healthy eating habits.
Dr. Pankaj Dhamija, Centre Head of Wockhardt Hospital Mira Road said "We pledge on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, to get our patients and customers out of the darkness of diseases and suffering towards the bright light of health and happiness."
