~ Aeris bags the recognition for the 2nd time in row ~
Noida, March 12 2020: Aeris Communications, a preferred Internet of Things (IoT) technology partner for enterprises, announced that it was presented with the 'Best Employer Brand Award' by ET Now at the 28th Edition of World HRD Congress held in Taj Land’s End, Mumbai. This is the second time in a row that Aeris has been recognized at this platform.
On receiving the award Sushant Patnaik, Head-HR, Aeris Communications said, “At Aeris, our endeavour has been to cultivate an environment that encourages and nurtures excellence & innovation. We are honoured to have won this esteemed award for the second time in a row! Awards like these reflect our relentless efforts towards building a strong foundation of a “People Focused” organisation!
Aeris has a robust and effective HR and people management system, contributing significantly to Talent Management, Talent Development, and Talent Innovation. Our talent management and development practice create an enabling environment to promote innovation and idea generation among employees and keep them at a competitive advantage. Our policies have been focusing on the “Employee Experience” and the Leadership and Managers are oriented to be aware of and respectful of employee’s needs to their right to a stress-free work environment.
We have created three ‘green eco zones’ in the office complete with lush green plants and grass; a stroll around these green zones lifts up the employee’s spirits and provides a ‘mental break’ from work. Additionally, we have also introduced indoor games such as Snooker, Table Tennis and Foosball in a spacious recreation area to facilitate employee engagement by allowing them to take short breaks during their work schedule and allow to destress themselves. Also, every quarter we organize a FitBit step up challenge where in employees can participate in a wellness competition spanning over three weeks.
The award ceremony was organised by ET Now in association with the World HRD Congress to identify the companies with growing capacities to generate employment and their capability to offer an engaging environment to work at. The award selection involved critical scrutiny of various areas such as employment generation potential, growth trajectory, previous and new strategies for skill development, employee engagement and recognition activities, previous recognitions in employment generation, etc.
The award ceremony witnessed a distinguished gathering of business leaders, jurists, academicians, economists and human resource consultants. An international jury comprising eminent industry stalwarts selected the 200 winners from a pool of over 1200 plus corporate houses after a rigorous evaluation process. The parameters for the selection of the award included linkage between people and business strategy, innovation in people practices, penetration of HR initiatives, the impact of people processes on business & spectrum and impact of talent management process.
