Grundfos India’s headquarters is located in Chennai and has 26 branch / home offices. It has an extensive network across the country with more than 200 distributors, Point of Sale outlets and authorized service centres. The company has two production facilities, one adjoined to its corporate office in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and another in Dantali, Gujarat. Grundfos India is also responsible for the business in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives and Nepal.

Its headquarters in Chennai is India’s first gold-rated green building (LEED certification by USGBC in 2005) is an Energy Efficient and a Zero liquid discharge facility, with Rainwater harvesting, Solar collectors and photovoltaics. Grundfos India’s factory also received the gold certification in 2011 from the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). In August 2013, the building that houses the Grundfos India Headquarters was elevated to a LEED EB Platinum certification. In February 2020, the factory again received the LEED certification from USGBC, making the entire Grundfos site Platinum rated. Even our facility in Gujarat plays a crucial role in reducing the carbon footprints left behind by us during transportation of our products.
Grundfos India has launched forums on Water and Energy conservation through the social media site, Facebook called ‘Ek Boondh Pani’ and ‘i Save Energy’. The objective of these forums is to create an awareness and to provide a platform for the members to share their suggestions, ideas and facts on conserving Water and Energy.
Grundfos India is also working with students from elementary schools to universities to spread awareness on sustainability (energy and water conservation). The company encourages school visits to its facility to showcase the Green Building concept. Through these students the company is influencing their family, friends and communities to conserve water and energy as well.
