About Aditi Ramesh:
Aditi Ramesh is a jazz/blues Carnatic vocalist, songwriter, bandleader and producer based out of Mumbai. She is known for her stronghold on tonal modulations and her ability to mix classical Carnatic music with jazz. Formerly a corporate lawyer, since quitting in the end of 2016, her musicality has experienced exponential growth.
Aditi's music is about the exploration of the space between genres. Fusion is often about showcasing a range of styles and techniques. Aditi attempts to find common overlaps between Indian and Western musical traditions and use these spaces to seamlessly transition between styles; to in a sense 'fuse' them. The sound is influenced by soul, jazz, blues, Carnatic, funk and folk music.
Her debut EP, ‘Autocorrect' has been listed as one of the top 10 EPs of 2017 by Rolling Stone India. Apart from her solo project, she plays keys and sings with Ladies Compartment and is a part of acapella and beatbox ensemble Voctronica.
About Raghav Meattle:
Mumbai based singer-songwriter, Raghav Meattle, has built quite the following for his brand of music, ever since his appearance on Season 2 of The Stage – India’s first reality show
dedicated to English music, where he ended up as a semi-finalist. Raghav was nominated for the Radio City Freedom Awards under the Best Pop Artist category last year. Raghav describes his music as ‘vocal first’, with great attention paid to lyrics and melodies. The core of his music lies in his vocals and the acoustic guitar, as that is how most of his songs are written. His music draws influences from the likes of George Ezra, Jack Johnson and John Mayer.
