The cricketers played some fun games and revealed their hidden talents. Suresh Raina played the saxophone, Jemimah Rodrigues on the guitar, while Shreyas Iyer rapped and Yuzvendra Chahal’s antics left the audience in splits. In fact, one of Chahal’s one-liners from the show gained a lot of popularity on Tiktok, with fans creating fun videos with #duetwithyuzi! However, one cricketer is set to surprise all with a very special talent that he picked up online in the upcoming episode. Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan who will be seen in this week’s finale episode took to the stage to play the flute and mesmerised fans with his soothing music. The batsman also spoke about his love for shayari and Sufi music. He believes that music soothes one’s soul. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic when the entire country is under lockdown, the cricketer urged fans to learn some new skills and hone their existing ones.
Shikhar Dhawan revealed, “I have always been passionate about music and wanted to learn to play an instrument one day as I believe it is therapeutic. I know how to play the flute. I learnt how to play it online. I would practice playing 2-3 hours everyday and watch videos on the internet. Slowly and steadily I mastered it and now I play the musical instrument with much ease. In these times of crisis, we all must take up something that will help us get through, whether it is learning a new skill or honing an existing one.”
