“The idea of happiness for me is primarily being my family, and my daughter especially. After a hectic day seeing her and hugging her or tucking her into bed at night, listening to her talk about her day is what makes me immensely happy. Now that I have some time, we’ve made a sort of to-do list to spend time together. Most of it includes trying all her craft DIYs (laughs) which she likes watching. Besides that cooking some delicious meals for her and my husband. Although I would have loved visiting my extended family back in Indore with her but looking at the current scenario it is in our best interest to stay at home. And this is something I would like to urge all our viewers too. “The happiest moment for me in my entire day is returning home to my dog after shooting for Santoshi Maa – Sunaye Vrat Kathayein. But now I am going to get to spend more time playing with him at home. Seeing his enthusiasm and joy the moment I walk in through the door is inexplainable. Whatever time of the day or night it might be, he greets me with so much love and excitement that I forget about how tired I am after a long working day. I believe happiness cannot be found outside, it is a state of mind. The moment you choose to be happy no matter what the situation is, you perceive things more differently and find contentment.”

“I believe happiness is often found in the smallest of things. If you make simple things the foundation of your everyday life, happiness will come to you in abundance. For me, happiness is a good cup of coffee or delivering a dialogue well. It is coming home to my baby boy every day; to see the excitement in his eyes when he sees me after a long day, that’s a beautiful moment of happiness for me. Spending quality time with my husband, indulging in a heart to heart conversation with my mother, these are moments of real bliss and happiness. This International Day of Happiness I’d like to tell all the viewers of &TV to not worry about the past or stress about the future. Even amidst the current scenario, stay calm and count your blessings. Be hopeful and in every moment of your life have something to look forward to. Especially people who are artists or in performing arts, you must have inspiration in life and be self-motivated. Keep stirring the creativity in you. I did the interiors of my house lately. I’m still in the process of decorating and doing knick-knacks here and there, but it has been keeping me agile for about a year and am still excited about it! Live in the moment and look forward to something, even if it is a simple thing like setting a fitness goal. Remember? Happiness is often found in the smallest of things”

“Happiness is a rare sight these days. Having to work all day, surrounded by different scripts, continuous preparation, camera, lighting, one barely gets time for ourselves at times, leave aside finding happy moments! But on sets, we do make it a point to find our moments of happiness. Besides, the days like International Day of Happiness, come as a reminder for us to be happy every day! My show Gudiya Humari Sabhi Pe Bhari itself is the story of Gudiya (Me) who always looks at the brighter side of things and keeps herself happy no matter the situation. Little moments like grabbing food after a long and tiring day of shoot makes me happy! In general, food makes me happy (laughs)! A call from home from Mom or dad lightens up my mood instantly.
