Nishant Singh Malkani’s new Sardar look will remind you of Ranbir Kapoor from Rocket Singh

The actor plays the role of Akshat Jindal on Zee TV’s GuddanTumse Na Ho Payega

Zee TV's GuddanTumse Na Ho Payega has been immensely loved and appreciated by the audience for its intriguing twists and turns in the storyline. Since the show has resumed, the audience has been excited to witness the chemistry between Guddan (Kanika Mann) and Akshat Jindal (Nishant Malkani) once again. However, with Ganga’s evil plans to harm Guddan and her baby, Akshat is now all set to bring a new twist not only to his identity but to his look as well.

Attempting to win Ganga’s trust to get their baby from her, the upcoming episodes of the show will see Guddan and Akshat plotting different ways to save their child. The dapper looking Nishant who has always portrayed an aesthetic flair with suits will now be seen donning a Sardar avatar for the very first time onscreen. With colourful turbans to match his vibrant attire, Akshat will be seen in an all new and rather interesting look and the set insiders say it has some resemblance to Ranbir Kapoor’s look in Rocket Singh: Salesman of the year. "It’s the first time I am playing a Sardar on-screen and I am totally loving this new look and the impact it brings to my character. In fact, my look is very similar to that of Ranbir Kapoor’s Rocket Singh avatar, right from the tucked in shirts and the colourful turbans as well as his demeanour and body language I depict via my character,” revealed Nishant Singh Malkani.

However, getting into the new look is not that easy, as Nishant shared, “Akshat as a character is an extremely polite and well-dressed gentleman. I have always loved how stylish and elegant this character of mine looked but experimenting with varied looks is what an actor really thrives for. Getting into this look also comes with its own set of challenges. It takes almost an hour to get into the look right from setting the hair to fixing the beard on my face. It takes the same amount of time to even get out of the look because I have to often use an adequate amount of acetone to rub off the sticky gum from my face. While the process is slightly tedious, I believe it is totally worth it.”

As Akshat gets set to enthral the audience with his edgy and colourful appearance, Ganga is all set to bring new twists in Akshat and Guddan's life in the upcoming episodes.
