Ahalya

Starring the gorgeous Radhika Apte as the central character, Ahalya won the heart of the audience with her spectacular performance. The film directed by Sujoy Ghosh takes on the episode of Ahalya from Ramayana and gives it a modern twist. It also stars the legendary Soumitra Chatterjee along with Tota Roy Chowdhury. In the mythology, where Ahalya was accused of infidelity with Lord Indra by her husband Gautama and turned into a stone, Sujoy’s Ahalya reverses the curse on Indra (a cop played by Tota Roy Chowdhury).

Churri

In this short film, Anurag Kashyap has explored his acting skills further. He plays the role of a cheating husband. The story goes forward with the theme of a victim turning victor with quiet wit and brazenness that you would never associate with such a woman. It is funny and subtle.

That Day after everyday

Directed by Anurag Kashyap and starring Radhika Apte, this film was one of their best collaboration. The film takes the audience on an emotional ride ending at an action-filled crescendo. The film deals with eve-teasing, a social issue, and revolves around three women who overcome their helplessness in a bad situation. It also features Sandhya Mridul, Geetanjali Thapa, and Aranya Kaur.
