मराठी सिनेसृष्टी आणि विनोदी सिनेमा हा विषय दोन दिग्गजांच्या नावाशिवाय कधीच पूर्ण होऊ शकत नाही. विनोदाचे बादशहा लक्ष्मीकांत बेर्डे आणि द्व्यर्थी विनोदाचा सम्राट दादा कोंडके यांनी महाराष्ट्रातील तमाम प्रेक्षकांचं मनोरंजन केलं आणि एक काळ गाजवला. या दोन महान विनोदवीरांना मानवंदना देण्यासाठी झी टॉकीज कॉमेडी अवॉर्ड्स २०२० मध्ये नवोदित अभिनेते अभिनय बेर्डे आणि मयुरेश पेम सज्ज झाले.

त्यांच्या या परफॉर्मन्सबद्दल बोलताना अभिनय म्हणाला, "बाबांचा वाढदिवस नुकताच होऊन गेला आणि त्यांना मानवंदना देण्याची संधी मला झी टॉकीज कॉमेडी अवॉर्ड्सने दिली याचा मला आनंद आहे. त्यांची सगळीच गाणी हि खूप लोकप्रिय आहेत, त्यातील काही निवडक गाण्यांवर आपल्या स्टाईल परफॉर्म करताना मला खूपच मजा आली. नवीन पोपट हा आणि अशी हि बनवा बनवी या गाण्यांवर मी परफॉर्म केलं. झी टॉकीज कॉमेडी अवॉर्ड्समध्ये सर्व नियमांचं पालन करून चित्रीकरण करण्यात आलं. हा अनुभव वेगळा आणि खूप चांगला होता."
