This Diwali, PVR Pictures is bringing audiences the biggest family comedy of this year, as the mighty Robert faces his tiny grandson in “The War with Grandpa”.
The rip roaring laugh-athon follows the story of Ed (De Niro), a recently widowed elderly who struggles to adjust with the single life. Hell bent on not staying at an old age facility, Ed is forced to move into his daughter’s home and take over his grandson’s room, much to the young kid’s chagrin. This sparks a never ending skirmish between a stubborn old man and a naughty little troublemaker that escalates to ridiculously comic proportions.
While making you chuckle, the whirlwind journey also shares the heart-warming message of respecting our elders and cherishing family. The crackling chemistry between Robert and Oakes Fegley, who plays his grandson, is to be seen to be believed. Their incredible comic timing promises to serve a laugh riot.
