ENTERTAINMENT SOCIETY OF GOA LAUNCHES GOA’S ICONIC MULTIPLEX

~ ESG UNVEILS ITS NEW LOGO~

11th January, 2021, Goa: Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) announced renovated and refurbished ESG Multiplex and unveiled their new logo today in Panaji, Goa. The world-class Multiplex was inaugurated by Dr. Pramod Sawant – Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa & Chairman, ESG. Other dignitaries who were present at the event included Shri. Uday Madkaikar – Mayor, Corporation of the City of Panaji, Shri. Shubash Phal Desai - Vice Chairman, ESG, Mr. Amit Satija, IAS – Chief Executive Officer, ESG and Alok Tandon, CEO-Inox.

ESG Multiplex has state-of-the-art facilities for its 4 screens that includes comfortable seating comprising recliner seats and Dolby Atmos sound system for better sound and viewing experience to match international standards. The multiplex will also have a Café Unwind To entice the palate of Goans.

Commenting on the inauguration, Dr. Pramod Sawant – Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa & Chairman, ESG said, “I'm delighted to be present at the unveiling of the new ESG logo and the launch of the new refurbished and renovated ESG multiplex. My heartiest congratulations to Vice Chairman-ESG and Secretary, Govt. of Goa and CEO-ESG - Mr Amit Satija, INOX team, and all those involved for their diligent efforts. ESG was started by the late visionary leader and former CM Shri. Manohar Parrikar, in 2004. Beginning this journey as a small festival in 2004, who would have thought that IFFI's 51st edition would be held in Goa! The activation of Public Private Partnership (PPP) cell shall ensure good scope for ESG and Goa to get an established film industry, film city and film studio. The ESG will now become a revenue surplus organisation from being a revenue sufficient organisation”

International Film Festival of India is conducted jointly by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India and the State Government of Goa and executed through its nodal agencies Directorate of Film Festival and Entertainment Society of Goa respectively. ESG has been successfully executing this festival from 2004 since the year of its establishment.
