Enraged by her son’s death, Vijaya wants justice, which is to see Anu being punished for killing her Bikram.

Dr. Mira, a role aced by Tisca Chopra, has to choose between her work values and the safety of her family. The show goes back and forth from a doctor who has to commit a murder versus a mother who has to save her children. Tisca, throughout the show represents an individual characteristic that every mother holds, which is to put her children ahead of herself. Regardless of troubling times and death hanging over her neck almost 24/7 she decides to plan an escape to safety for her children. Hostages is a show that builds up on mystery, love and crime but the thing that stands out is the emotion that a mother has for her child.
