Paying attention to mental health is just as important as your physical health. Mental health
Farhana Fatema seen as Shanti Mishra in &TV’s Aur Bhai Kya Chal Raha Hai shares, “In our fast-paced lives, we often forget that it is imperative to maintain mental wellbeing along with staying fit. Since I love dancing, I ensure that I indulge in routine dance sessions to relieve myself of stress and also stay happy and energised.” Sonali Nikam seen as Keerti Kaul in &TV’s Mauka-E-Vardaat – Operation Vijay shares, “I like to strike a healthy work-life balance to ensure that I do not exert myself beyond a limit. I try to take out a couple of hours each day for meditation session. It not only has a calming effect on me, but also rejuvenates me.” Sharing similar thoughts, Kenisha Bhardwaj seen as Nisha Agarwal in &TV’s Ghar Ek Mandir-Kripa Agrasen Maharaj Ki shares, “Meditation is food for my soul like acting is to my body. However busy my day would be, I never fail to start it without 15 minutes of yoga and meditation. While I love my job, I also ensure that it does not come in the way of my mental wellbeing. Meditation for me, is a way to get closer to the almighty and establishing a deeper connection with him, so it is a very crucial part of my regular life.” Himani Shivpuri seen as Katori Amma in &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan says, “I practise controlled breathing and meditation, as it helps me stay focused, brings positive energy, and relieves stress. Mental wellbeing is often considered as a leisure activity, and it takes a backseat, but this is the mentality we need to change.” Shubhangi Atre seen as Angoori Bhabi in &TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai says, “Mental wellbeing is extremely crucial as it impacts thoughts, behaviours, and emotions. I practice yoga to achieve personal, emotional, and spiritual growth and development. Apart from this, I also have dance as a part of my routine as it makes me happy and full of life.”
