Percept ICE, the Experiential Marketing, Events & Brand Activations Domain Company of Percept Limited, conceptualized and managed a spectacular ‘Artisan Awards 2023’ at the St. Regis in Mumbai on May 19, 2023. The gala event was attended by over 250 select By-Invite guests comprising celebrities and luminaries from the fashion, gems and jewellery domain.
The sixth edition of The Artisan Awards proved to be a glorious event of inspiration and innovation. Hosted by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the ‘Artisan Awards’ provided a prestigious and credible competitive platform for creative professionals to maximise their individualism and creative expression in the jewellery design domain. The theme for the sixth year was ‘indiamoderne’, where the world of art inspires jewellery design. The theme was further divided into three distinct categories, each focusing on a different genre viz. ‘Art of Abstraction’, ‘Art of Sculpture’, and ‘Art of Print’. This year the country’s premier annual jewellery design competition saw a whopping 600 sketch entries from India and overseas, confirming its position as a hallmark for ground-breaking creativity and ideation in the jewellery domain.
Percept ICE’s scope of work included conceptualizing, planning, designing, producing and seamless on ground execution of the entire event. The gala show saw a glamorous evening of industry personalities networking over Cocktails, the magnificent Artisan Awards 2023 Ceremony, finally culminating in a memorable Dinner. The event was curated keeping in mind the ‘indiamoderne’ concept for Artisan Awards 2023 and every aspect of the event showcased the theme, right from the Welcome Reception to the distinctive Stage design. The balance of colours, art, design and glamour was brought out through custom made design elements to give the entire show a unique, elegant vibe.
Guests of Honour included Mira Kapoor and ace designer Nikhil Mehra of Shantanu & Nikhil, along with Vipul Shah, Chairman, GJEPC; Milan Chokshi, Convener of the Promotion, Marketing Sub-committee, GJEPC and Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Diredctor of GJEPC who gave away the awards amidst thunderous applause and cheers.
