Emirates: Student Baggage Allowance - Update*130923

Students travelling from India on Emirates flights in business and economy cabins are entitled for the extra baggage allowance as per the below terms and conditions. Valid for Ticketing       : Until 31 March 2024 Valid for Travel           :  As per base fare rule Cabin*                        : Business & Economy Class-excluding V/G Offer is applicable on  : Outbound & Inbound.   Online destinations     :  DXB, Europe, Mexico, Australia  & New Zealand For online destinations to USA & Canada, the 3rd piece will be permitted at an additional cost. Allowance Additional 1 piece not more than 23 Kilos in Economy and 32 kilos for Business class for Students travelling Ex India to all online points in Mexico.    Additional 10 Kilos Baggage allowance for Students travelling Ex India to all online points in DXB, Europe, Australia  & New Zealand in Economy and Business class ( Note : Refer to ticket issuance column for details)    Also permitted in Premium Economy class on sectors where the same is offered.    Ticket Issuance Ticket must reflect the total allowance in the baggage allowance box. Failure to adhere to the same will result in normal baggage allowance. *Tickets to be issued to reflect the total baggage allowance 40 Kgs except for flex plus where the total baggage allowance would be 35kgs plus 10kgs = 45kgs. Saver and Flex fare tickets will have baggage allowance of 40kgs. Fare All tickets must be issued at EK fares as published in GDS/NDC One-way/return fares ending *IN1. Ticketing Fare basis *IN1/STU2 or IN1/STN2 Valid on EK operated flights only and will not apply to codeshare or Interline flights operated by partner carriers. Endorsement ZZSTU2ZZ in the tour code box of the ticket respectively.   The additional baggage allowance to be entered as an SSR item in the PNR.(1PC additional allowed) Eligibility: Bonafide students from the age group of 16 years -30 years.(on/after 16th birthday and before 31st birthday) Supporting Documentation to be produced at the time of ticketing:    Documents for travel to Dubai, Europe, Mexico, Australia  & New Zealand    Student visa and passport copy.    Passengers holding STU exchange /internship//short term programme etc are not eligible for this offer.    Foreign Nationals /Customers holding Overseas Citizen of India card (OCI) (not Indian Nationals) wanting to avail of student baggage allowance are eligible. Countries that issue a resident visa instead of a student visa are eligible for student offer if they are able to provide the below: Proof of college admission or college id (not email confirmation or offer letters). Admission letter should be on the university letter head. Proof of fees paid /ID etc.    If the above documents are not produced by agent when randomly requested or by passenger at check-in ,agent will be debited.    Tickets issued/sold and originating in India only.       Channel Distribution Valid on all GDS’s (1A/1P/1S/1G/1B) & NDC/F1 Note: The additional baggage allowance for students will be permitted on EK Online Points for tickets issued on EK Interline Fares. Baggage allowance will need to be amended manually with applicable student baggage allowance for EK online points.
