Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is the largest Regional Council of ICAI with more than 116,000 Chartered Accountants & 2,26,000 Students registered. The ICAI is set up under an Act of Parliament and is a Statutory Body. WIRC Organises multiple seminars, workshops & programs for its Members & Students.
WIRC has organised its Annual Regional Conference on 9th & 10th August at Yogi Sabhagruha in Mumbai. The theme for this years’ conference is “Arise With Aim of Knowledge Enrichment”(AWAKE).
On registration, participants shall get the benefit of Cloud Based softwares QuickBooks, office automation & practice management software – Jamku, a NiYO global forex card (having validity of 5 years) and a trolley bag.
The conference shall be inaugurated by CA. Farokh N. WIRC Chairperson CA Priti Savla mentioned that ICAI is a Statutory Body set up by an Act of Parliament & is a partner in Nation Building. She highlighted various initiatives undertaken by the ICAI for the benefit of members and business community at large. WIRC has organised various seminars on burning topics such as RERA, GST, Corpoarte Laws, IBC, Benami Act, GST audit. She also informed about the publication on Corporate Laws, GST Audit, Maharashtra settlement of Arrears of tax interest penalty or late fees brought by WIRC in record time. CA. Priti Savla also requested the Media to play an active role to spread the message about the activities of ICAI and especially the upcoming Regional Conference to maximum Chartered Accountants. WICASA Chairman CA. Jayesh Kala highlighted the role undertaken by CA for the economic progress of the country and also explained various initiatives taken by WIRC for the students all round growth.
