Ayudh aims to empower youth by growing personal and
spiritual attributes
Mumbai, November 5, 2019: Ayudh (Awaken Youth Unite for Dharma), the youth
wing of Mata Amritanandamayi Math is organizing a one-day youth meet in Mumbai
on November 10, 2019. A large number of selected youth from eminent
institutions in the city will take part in the meet to be held at Amrita Vidyalayam, Plot No.4,
Sector 25, Juinagar, Navi Mumbaifrom 2 pm to 6 pm. The registration
is open to youth between the ages of 15 and 30; is free of cost and can be done
through www.ayudh.in.
The objective of the meet is to
provide an environment that helps the youth grow on a personal and spiritual
level and to raise awareness on Indian culture, values, and heritage. The
attractions of the meet include talks, meditation, quiz and workshops, group
discussion, singing, video-shoots and games. Those who participate in the
meet will also find remarkable exposure to meditation, leadership, and
self-empowerment, introduction to community service activities and Amrita’s
humanitarian technology initiatives aligned with the sustainable development
goals of the United Nations.
The meet will be followed by a
regional camp and a national camp in 2020. This one-day meets will prime the
interested youth to the activities of Ayudh and will be followed by a regional
summit and finally a national-level summit in the second half of 2020.
