Kerala Literature Festival (KLF 2020) has announced the KLF Literature Awards in categories of Fiction, Non Fiction, Popular Science, Travel and a grand prize for the Best Book in Malayalam. Dr. Sam Santosh, Director & CEO at MedGenome announced the award prize in the Popular Science category at the inaugural day of the event. The total prize money amounts to Rs.10 lakhs: 5 Lakh for the first winner, 3 Lakh for second and 2 lakh for third.

The awards are very significant as its gives a perfect platform for debut authors to compete on level ground against celebrated authors. It is wonderful that authors are being rewarded for their craft and given the much-needed recognition. These awards will nurture new talents while acknowledging established writers” said Ravi Deecee, Chief Facilitator, Kerala Literature Festival.
The judging panel and schedule for submission and short listed entrees will be announced shortly and will also be posted at Kerala Literature Festival website.
