IFFDI (India Runway Week) Postpone due to growing concerns of coronavirus outbreak in Delhi

Fashion Industry fears coronavirus
As the number of coronavirus cases continues to grow in India, The Indian fashion industry is starting to take a hit. FDCI’s Lotus India Fashion week which was scheduled from 11th to 15th March has been postponed as designers, attendees and organizers voice concerns about coronavirus. The other such major event, IFFD’s India Runway Week which is scheduled for April 3rd to 5th has also planned to postpone the event, keeping the safety measures for the designers, influencers, buyers and other people who are planning from all across the globe to attend the show. 
Already, the virus has killed more than 3,000 people, more than 2,800 of whom have been in China’s Hubei province. Till today, India has deducted 30 Coronavirus cases.
 There will be a “significant impact” on the fashion industry this year due to coronavirus, said Avinash Pathania, Founder of India Runway Week. “It’ll disrupt the ecosystem supported by the fashion shows and exhibition.
