Mumbai, 22nd September, 2020:
Television shoots have largely resumed amid the new normal along with a new set of guidelines and safety precautionary measures. While everyone is adapting to these, the one thing that the cast and crew of Dangal TV’s ‘Aye Mere Humsafar’ miss the most is the sharing of food and conversations during the lunch breaks. These breaks are now largely restricted to make up rooms with social distancing norms being followed.
Aye Mere Humsafar’s Neelu Vaghela who portrays the role of Pratibha Devi, an independent and successful entrepreneur, says, “On set, there are people from different communities and states and that translates to a variety of dishes on the platter. Right from litti chokha to rajma chawal, we bring everything in our dabbas now which is strictly home-cooked. Rishina, Pooja and I consciously make it a point to have our lunch together in my make up room. While earlier lunch time was a fun time, now we make sure that we maintain social distance and follow precautionary measures at all times. Considering the situation, and stress of always sub-consciously thinking about the negative impact that COVID has created, I have always believed that we must have a positive approach and create a more positive atmosphere on sets and having lunch together helps us in a way. As a team, we keep making small efforts to ensure we create a more cheerful and positive atmosphere while we work instead of focusing on all the negative around us. I hope everything goes back to normal soon because I miss the food and talks during our breaks.”
Aye Mere Humsafar portrays the life of an ambitious girl and a laid-back boy and how their lives get entangled after a misunderstanding which leads to a mix up in their marriage.
Watch Aye Mere Humsafar, Monday to Friday at 7pm only on Dangal.
Dangal TV is available in all leading cable networks and DTH platforms – DD Free Dish (CHN NO 27), Tata Sky(CHN NO 177), Airtel (CHN NO 133), Dish TV (CHN NO 119) and Videocon D2H (CHN NO 106).
