Kolkata, October 2nd 2020:SVF Music, the music label of SVF, has launched
a new soulful track, helmed as the much-awaited festive season single ‘Majhe
Majhe Tobo’. It is streaming from today on the SVF Music YouTube
channel. The song is one of the age-old melodies of Rabindranath Tagore
that transcends time. Re-arranged amazingly by renowned music director Arindom
who has also sung the track himself, this romantic endeavour is hummable,
serene and yet one of the most powerful spiritual tracks released this season.
The soundscape of Majhe Majhe Tobo adds
an urban relevance which presents a perfectly blended combination of
contemporary and vintage flavour to the new composition. Shot in one of the most enormous palaces of
Bengal, the beauty of the song enhances with the music video, igniting the
feeling of love in audience’s minds. The video, directed by the Guptodhon
series director Dhrubo Banerjee, features the popular actors Arjun
Chakrabarty and Darshana Banik. It portrays an eternal emotion of
two lovers, who wish to be inseparable and how destiny guides their lives to
take a turn in an unexpected direction. The strong message of ‘till death do us
apart’ has been very emotionally conveyed through the melancholy lyrics of the
song through the music video. The story unfolds as the music video of Majhe
Majhe Tobo progresses.
SVF Music has tagged the music as the #RajbariMusical,
for having shot in an exquisite 300-year-old boutique property near Kolkata
named ‘The Bawali Rajbari’. There are several music videos lined up for
shooting at the Rajbari, because of the extraordinarily royal and elegant vibe
that the place gives. Arindom’s heartfelt composition in addition with the
video location, Dhrubo Banerjee’s direction and ultimately the fresh chemistry
between Arjun and Darshana, goes as a complete package to the audience.
