Xtraliving and The Directorate of Sports, Maharashtra announces winners of eNERGIZE- National Level Athletic Fitness Championship.

“3.5-year-olds to 65 years participated from across India”

India, October 12,2020:

The one-month-long event received thousands of entries from the country, from Kashmir to Kerala and Gujarat to Mizoram. The online event platform eNERGIZE was created to encourage all athletes and aspiring athletes nationally and keep them going amidst pandemic. While going through a Fitness challenge's ideation process, the platform was all-inclusive where everyone could participate. Sports Department involvement from across 15+ states increased the program's awareness, 2500 participants qualified for the event.

Aditi Sunil Tatkare, Maharashtra, State Minister (sports), said, "It was great to see the participation from all over India. We will organize similar events at a greater scale in the time to come."

Mr Bakoria, Commissioner of Sports, Maharashtra, commented, "Fitness is crucial at every stage of life. We are focusing on the Fitness of every student. They are the fitness ambassador of India. I am sure they will take the nation on a path of fitness and wellness. Kids are India's pride and true a champion & superstars of India who will bring lots of glory to India."

Adults and working professionals actively participated in the challenge of laying the foundation for being good role models to the younger generation. It was amazing to see that many participants were also between the ages of 4 and 17. It was quite overwhelming to observe parents supporting and encouraging their kids to participate in such a platform. Events like this help society move in the right direction when building a future generation aware and mindful of the importance of Fitness.
