Currently playing Janki in Dangal TV’s Prem Bandhan, Chhavi Pandey shares some of her secrets to perfectly portray a character.

It has been almost a decade since Chhavi has been acting. Here she shares some tips that she has learnt over the years and says, “I believe to play any role; you need to first understand the character even if it is just an audition. I think instead of just memorizing your dialogues line after line, you need to first learn what it means and make it beautiful in a unique way and then present it. The best character is portrayed after the actor relates to the characters and the scenes he or she is about to play. Today, the audience loves Janki because I created her. If they could see Chhavi on screen and not Janki, people would have never connected with the show and the character. So, I make sure to change my personality when I am in front of the camera. I believe you really need to dive deep to understand and portray the character you are offered so that the message you are trying to convey reaches the heart of the viewers.”

छवी को अभिनय करते हुए लगभग एक दशक हो गया है। यहां वह कुछ टिप्स साझा करती हैं जो उन्होंने अपने करियर के दौरान सीखा हैं और कहती हैं, “मेरा मानना है कि किसी भी भूमिका को निभाने के किए पहले चरित्र को समझने की जरूरत है, भले ही वह सिर्फ एक ऑडिशन हो। मुझे लगता है कि केवल अपने संवादों को याद रखने के बजाय, आपको पहले यह जानने की जरूरत है कि इसका क्या मतलब है और इसे अनोखे तरीके से सुंदर बनाएं और फिर उसे प्रस्तुत करें। एक किरदार को तब ही सबसे बेहतरीन तरीके से प्रस्तुत कर सकते है जब अभिनेता उसे दिल से समझ के एक्टिंग करता है। आज दर्शक जानकी से प्यार करते हैं क्योंकि मैंने उसे बनाया है। अगर वे छवी को परदे पर देखते और जानकी को नहीं, तो लोग कभी भी शो और किरदार से नहीं जुड़े होते। इसलिए, मैं कैमरे के सामने अपने व्यक्तित्व को बदलना सुनिश्चित करती हूं। मेरा मानना है कि आपके द्वारा पेश किए गए चरित्र को समझने और चित्रित करने के लिए आपको वास्तव में किरदार को गहराई से समझने की आवश्यकता है ताकि आप जो संदेश देने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं वह दर्शकों के दिल तक पहुंचे। ”
