A USA based non profit AMPowering hosted their biggest fashion event- North America Fashion Week in Hyatt Regency Lake Washington between September 22-26. This organization is helping several communities and people in need in both India and USA and has been awarded as best non profit.
This year for their 10th anniversary, and India’s 75th independence anniversary, a special segment was curated to highlight Atmanirbhar Bharat where several Indian designers from all over USA and India participated to showcase India’s rich textile, artisan work and most important arts and culture. This event is supported by City of Renton Mayor and Consulate general of India.
Celebrity designer Rosy Ahluwalia from India was featured designer as special guest of this segment. Washington State Representative Vandana Slatter was chief guest and she highly praised and appreciated all designs and also bought various outfits from Rosy Ahluwalia collection.
Rosy Ahluwalia is a world renowned designer who was awarded at the Parliament of London as well. She was invited by CEO of North America Fashion Week, Menka Soni to be a special highlight of the Atmanirbhar Bharat and close the show.
