7th October, 2022: RuPaul’s DragCon 2023 will see an Indian star shining on the pink carpet as Sushant Divgikar aka Rani Ko-He-Nur makes their way to RuPaul’s grand stage, along with 50 chosen artists who have been invited to perform at this global platform. Having released their music video with an LA production house Drag artiste/ Singer and “Queen of the Universe Season 1” Winner Gragg Queen in July, Sushant Divgikar aka Rani Ko-HE-Nur will be starting their year by being the only Indian to ever represent India at this global platform yet again this year.
Rani’s assertion of fearless extravagant fashion has not only brought the glory and power of drag in the mainstream Indian media, but also crossed borders and showed the world the real sense of confidence and leadership starts by being truly comfortable in your own skin.
The icon Rani has been making waves Internationally- representing India across mediums
like being featured on New York Time Square Billboard, The Queen of the Universe Season 1- A Paramount Plus Reality show, Co-hosted 'House of Pride' for Revry TV and was also listed under Forbes- Top 100 Digital Stars 2022, and now, Sushant Divgikar aka Rani Ko-HE-Nur is all set to take another step towards placing India on the world map!
RuPaul’s DragCon, the biggest global showcase of Drag is an annual expo of drag culture and a celebration of 'the art of drag, queer culture and self-expression. It’s organized by RuPaul Andre Charles, an American drag queen, television judge, musician, best known for producing, hosting, and judging the reality competition series RuPaul's Drag Race.
Ecstatic and full of spirit for RuPaul’s DragCon 2023, Sushant Divgikar said “It is my immense pleasure to be representing my beautiful and culturally diverse country, India, at Rupaul’s drag con in LONDON, U.K. in January, 2023. This is the second time I will be taking Indian drag and the performing arts on the biggest global showcase of drag internationally.
I am nervous but also very excited to put The Indian transgender and drag communities on the global map and sharing space and the stage with some of the most powerful and talented artistes from around the world!

The world recognizes Sushant Divgikar’s courage, prowess and iconism and celebrates them in every way possible. It’s about time that India too, grows out of the narrow domestic walls of gender biases and honors the talented for all that they do to make India and this world a better place to live, laugh and love in.
