We are thrilled to share that Mercedes-Benz India created sales history by achieving the highest ever sales in a calendar year, in India. With this historic sales performance, Mercedes-Benz firmly retained its leadership position in the country’s luxury car segment, for the eighth consecutive year. CY 2022 marks the ‘Best Year Ever’ and ‘Best Ever Q4’ for Mercedes-Benz India, as the company delivered 15, 822 new cars to customers in the January-December 2022 period, registering a strong 41% Y-o-Y sales growth. (CY 2021: 11,242 +41%)
Mercedes-Benz India also commenced its product offensive by launching the stunning Mercedes-AMG E 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet, the first Cabriolet in an AMG Avatar in India. The new AMG E 53 Cabriolet highlights Mercedes-Benz’s vision of bringing highly emotive and desirable products for the Indian customers.
Sharing below some key highlights
• Mercedes-Benz delivers 15,822 units (11,242 units in 2021; +41%) in 2022, clocking the ‘Best Year Ever’ and also the ‘Best Ever Q4’ in history of Mercedes-Benz India
• Key models driving growth in 2022 are the C-Class, E-Class, S-Class limousines and the GLA, GLC, GLE and GLS SUVs
• The LWB E-Class continues to remain the single highest selling model for Mercedes-Benz in 2022 followed by the GLC SUV
• Exciting new products, some even without a predecessor planned across portfolio in 2023
• New customer initiatives 2023: Online Store with new features | New Trade-In Module and AI based i-evaluation app for Pre-Owned cars
• The Mercedes-AMG E 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet features 3.0 litre L6 Twin-scroll turbocharger engine; produces 520 Nm + 250 Nm torque and generates 320 + 16 kW (435 + 22 HP)
• The Mercedes-AMG E 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet can sprint 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds with a maximum speed of 250 km/h (electronically limited)
• The Mercedes-AMG E 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet is priced at INR 1.30 crores (All India ex-showroom)

Mercedes-Benz India pioneered the luxury car market
in India. Set up in 2009, Mercedes-Benz India’s world-class production facility
is spread over 100 acres in Chakan near Pune. Since June 2015, Mercedes-Benz
