5-Day exhibition is being held at Kamalnayan Bajaj Hall and Art Gallery in Mumbai
Mumbai, 5 September 2023: Kaliyug, a series of acrylic paintings by artist Manasa Kalyan, has announced the launch of its third and final edition in Mumbai. Author and columnist Shweta Bachchan Nanda at Kamalnayan Bajaj Hall and Art Gallery in Mumbai inaugurated the 5-day art exhibition.
“Kaliyug 3.0” stands as the grand finale of a remarkable trilogy of art exhibitions, showcasing the evolution and mastery of Manasa Kalyan's creative journey. This exhibition promises an immersive experience that invites art enthusiasts and connoisseurs to witness the culmination of this extraordinary voyage. Titled ‘World Through My Eyes’, the acrylic paintings highlights the artist’s captivating journey through colours and emotions. Through her adept use of acrylic on canvas, artist Manasa Kalyan breathes life into her subjects, skilfully transporting viewers into a world where colours dance, details intrigue, and emotions resonate deeply. Mrs. Menon from Jehangir Art Gallery, who extended her greetings to the artist, also graced the event.
During her inaugural speech, author, artist and designer – Shweta Bachchan Nanda said, “As we stand before the mesmerizing ‘Kaliyug 3.0’ art series, I am reminded of the enduring power of art to transcend boundaries and touch the very core of our being. Talking about the Kaliyug series, artist Manasa Kalyan said, “In the current era, humanity finds itself at a crossroads, grappling with a multitude of interconnected global challenges. Amidst this backdrop, I have aimed to showcase the beauty of world and everyday life, that is often overlooked by today’s generation in the fast-paced era. Through these paints, I aim to showcase the power for change, which resides within the collective conscience of communities and individuals.”
Kaliyug 3.0 showcases an extension of the artist’s perception towards the world through her eyes aiming to stimulate introspection and ignite transformation among today’s generation through a surreal experience. The proceeds from the art exhibition-cum-sale will be fully donated to Akshaya Patra Foundation.

Trained for the past eight years, under artist Shine Karunakaran, this is the second third public display of Manasa Kalyan’s art work. After the successful first two edition of the series, which was held in Thrissur, Kerala and Bengaluru, Karnataka. With this all-new edition in Mumbai, the artist has revamped her work, majority of which was produced during the past year.
