Kailash Satyarthi is all praises for the upcoming social drama "Jhalki"


Kailash Satyatrthiis an Indian 'Children's rights' activist. He is a Nobel Prize recipient and founder of Bachpan Bachao Andolan, Global March against Child Labor, Global Campaign for Education, Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation, recently was present at the special screening of the upcoming social drama ‘Jhalki’ that is a tribute to his efforts against child labour and child trafficking and is directed by, Brahmanand S Siingh. He was immensely impressed by the factual representation of child labour and bonded labour present in the remote parts of India and since he himself is a firm believer of the fact that, cinema is a very powerful tool to educate people he continued to acknowledge the effort of the makers of the film and also shared his notable remarks about the film on Twitter.

“Jhalki” stars the supremely talented Boman Irani, Sanjay Suri, Divya Dutta, Tanishtha Chatterjee, Govind Namdev, Joy Sengupta, Akhilendra Mishra, Bachan Pachera. It is a tale of a life-altering disappearance of her 7-year old brother sets Jhalki off on a mission to find him at all costs. Armed with an intimate folk-tale and her own sharp mind, is Jhalki’s journey the start of a spiral that will change the lives of thousands for good? What price must she pay to get what she wants? It is  an atypical thriller of hope, courage, self-belief and perseverance, seen through the eyes of a 9-year-old girl, who will not stop anywhere short of a triumph.
The film is slated to release on the 27thof September.
