Mumbai, November 15, 2019: The Yoga Institute is the oldest institute of yoga and mindfulness in the world. For the previous 22 years of their 100 years journey, the institute has been consciously focusing on initiatives that create awareness and drive inclusive opportunities through interactive yoga and wellness-oriented activities. Taking ahead this vision of inclusiveness with Yoga, The Yoga Institute has designed a unique half-day workshop for the specially-abled children and adults on 20th November from 9.30 AM – 3.30 PM. A specially trained and experienced team of experts of The Yoga Institute will conduct the workshop.
While the core pillar of the workshop will be yoga, it will equally focus on Learning & Fun activities, Balance enhancing exercises, Healthy habits, Creative art DIYs to recycle and reuse, Dance and Dramatics, and Concentration building exercises. These activities to be covered in the workshop not only ensure fun engagement but also, are designed to instill self-confidence and support the specially-abled audience with exercises that can be incorporated in their day-to-day lifestyle. The workshop will also include a segment concentrating on Parent Education & Empowerment, Stress Management and Counseling and Guidance with The Yoga Institute’s experts.

Eligibility: Children of 10+ years & Adults. Also, each special child/adult or group should be accompanied by a responsible guardian/adult.

Location: The Yoga Institute, Prabhat Colony, Santacruz East, Mumbai.
Date & Time: Wednesday, 20th November from 9.30 AM – 3.30 PM.
Requirements: Participants are requested to carry water bottles and their personal art kit: scissors/crayons/ paints / glue.
